Donate a Bed or Crib to a Family in Need
We have many people who come to us needing a bed or crib for themselves or a child. Some of these families are coming out of a shelter after experiencing a fire, bedbug infestation or domestic-abuse situation. Still other families are simply living paycheck to paycheck, and there is no extra money for the purchase of a bed or crib.
Sometimes a family just needs a little help to give all of its members a safe and healthy sleep environment. Friends In Deed is one of the only programs in Washtenaw County that helps a family obtain a bed or crib free of cost.
By making a monetary donation toward the purchase of a new bed or crib, you can help an individual or child get up off the floor, get into a bed/crib, and get a good night’s sleep.
